When Paul was converted he said, "What wilt Thou have me do?" -- Acts 9:6. He had surrendered. When he was "crucified with Christ," he said, "But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ," -- Phil. 3:7. This was his consecration and that consecration involved an absolute consignment of what he was or expected to be into the keeping of God forever, with the immediate end in view that God will "sanctify me wholly."
Can you sing from a free, glad heart as did Paul ...
"Take my will, and make it Thine;
It shall be no longer mine;
Take my heart -- it is Thine own,
It shall be Thy royal throne.
Take my love, my Lord, I pour
At Thy feet its treasure-store;
Take myself and I will be
Ever only all for Thee."
